My mother is really pleased with a supplement called High Strength Flexible Joint by Vetzyme. One of her dogs has suffered from stiff joints for years, & it had recently got a lot worse. Then she tried this supplement & saw a very rapid improvement. Taff has been on it for about a month now, & although he’s not bouncing around like a puppy, he is definitely a lot more mobile.
The supplement contains glucosamine, chondroitin, MSM & Omega 3. It comes in the form of “tasty chicken bites” (though Taff doesn’t think they’re very tasty). 30 capsules (1 a day for big dogs, 1/2 a capsule for small) costs about £5. Ask for it at your local pet shop. The shop my mother bought it from says it has had lots of satisfied customers. (Liz Bygrave)
