Quick Cure for Cramp
Next time you get cramp, confuse the muscle into relaxing by rubbing the palm of your hand briskly backwards and forwars over the affected area.
Persistent muscle cramps should be checked by your doctor, but are often due to a shortfall in one or more of the following nutrients: magnesium (a natural muscle relaxant) calcium, vitamin D, potassium or vitamin E. Staff at your local health food shop may be able to give you more advice, or consult a nutritional therapist. (Liz Bygrave)
