What is Kinesiology?
Traditionally, Kinesiology (pronounced kin - easy - ology) refers to the study of muscles and movement in the body.  However, in the natural health field the term Kinesiology is used in a wider context.  Here, muscles become monitors of stress and imbalance within the body. “Muscle response testing” is used to detect various imbalances in the body whihc may relate to stress, nutrition and so on.  The system was developed over 40 years ago by chiropractic doctors.

Nutritional Therapy
A Nutritional Therapist advises on the use of diet and food supplements to restore balance, aid detoxification and address nutritional deficiencies.

For a personalised nutritional approach, Ella used Kinesiology  to pinpoint potential imbalances, food sensitivities, and create a tailor made supplementation program.

In practice this means that if you take any existing supplements they can be checked to see if they are suitable for you.  Having established any imbalances using the Kinesiology technique, additional supplements can be tested to see if they will aid you to redress these imbalances.

Food Sensitivity Testing
Kinesiology is an effective took for determining food sensitivities.  Results are immediate and testing is completely pain free.  There is no need to remove any clothing.  It is suitable for adults, children and babies.

Flower Essence Therapy/Meridian Energy Balancing
As well as Nutritional Therapy, Kinesiology can be effectively combined with Flower Essence Therapy and Meridian Energy Balancing and Healing approaches, where appropriate, to stimulate the healing process.
