Jessica has worked around North and Central London for a number of years, as well as in New Zealand in 1994.
After initially completing an Honours degree in Psychology at York University she moved to London and graduated from the British College of Osteopathic Medicine. She was drawn to osteopathy because of its basis in anatomy and its ability to combine structure with a more holistic approach to body and mind.
In 2000/1 she worked at the Osteopathic Centre for Children (previously in Harley St, currently Woodbridge St, EC1) where she was able to study and practise Pediatric Cranial osteopathy treating children and babies. This technique is also very effective in treating adults, especially those who have suffered shock, trauma or undergone operations.
Currently she is studying Pilates to use in combination with osteopathy (APPI training). This training specialises in people with back pain (i.e. history of recurrent disc problems, women post pregnancy, and people with poor posture) and focuses on how people can strengthen their backs through exercise.
