What is Reflexology?
Reflexology promotes health and well-being through the application of pressure to specific reflex points on the feet.  It is very effective both for relaxation and for working on specific health issues, activating the entire body’s capacity for self-healing.

The kinds of conditions that reflexology can often help with include:

  • Stress
  • Musculoskeletal problems such as back pain, sciatica, whiplash and frozen shoulder
  • Women’s Health issues such as PMT, period pain, the menopause, pregnancy
  • Digestive disorders such as IBS and constipation

Reflexology encourages optimal functioning of the hormonal, circulatory, excretory, digestive, immune and nervous systems.  It promotes the elimination of toxins from the body and relaxes mind and body, facilitating deep healing on all levels.

How does it work?
No one really knows why reflexology is so effective but there are a couple of theories.  One is that it works through the nerve pathways, the feet having an especially rich supply of nerve endings.  The other is that it works in a similar way to acupuncture, along the energetic pathways of the body.  It is probable that both play a part.

Your Session
The first session lasts between 75 and 90 minutes and cots £45.00.  Subsequent sessions last for either 60 minutes (£38.00) or 75 minutes (£45.00) depending on preference.
